Eleftherios Kalogeros has been a laboratory teaching staff in computer and information science at the Department of Archives, Library Science and Museology at Ionian University since December 2009. He teaches courses in informatics, databases, metadata, digital libraries, knowledge organization systems, and virtual museums.
He received his B.Sc. (2004) from the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens; his M.Sc. (2011) in Informatics from the Department of Informatics, Ionian University; and his Ph.D. (2022) in Computer Science from the Department of Archives, Library Science and Museology, Ionian University.
He is a member of the Database and Information Systems Group (DBIS) which is part of the Laboratory on Digital Libraries and Electronic Publishing.
His research interests include the semantic web, linked data, knowledge representation, metadata interoperability, digital libraries, big data, and cloud computing.
He is an author and a reviewer of scientific papers in international conferences and journals.
