The Department of Archives, Library Science and Museology has four official teaching and research laboratories. Three of them established by the Presidential Decree 89/10-04-2003, Greek Government Gazette I A82/10-04-2003 and the fourth by the Presidential Decree 360/16-03-2015, aiming at promoting research and supporting the educational process, with emphasis on Cultural & Historical Heritage Documentation, Information Technology and Digital Libraries & Electronic Publications.
Throughout their years of existence, they have produced interesting research results which have been published in scientific journals.
