The Department of Archives and Library Science occupies the second floor of the Ionian University’s most recent building, at 72 Ioannou Theotoki Street. Its state-of-the-art installations premises include five specially arranged teaching halls, teaching staff offices, the Secretariat, two computer labs and three research and teaching laboratories. Classes are also taught in the two ground-floor amphitheatres.

The computer labs are fully equipped with workstations, printers, scanners and up-to-date peripherals. Moreover, access is provided to the University's network as well as to a number of value-added services (e.g. Internet, network of Greek Academic Libraries Heal-link e.t.c.). The computer labs are supervised by trained staff.
