Theodoros Pappas holds a Ph.D. in Classics from the University of Montpellier. He is Professor of Ancient Greek Literature at the Department of Archives, Library Science and Museology of the Ionian University and Director of the Laboratory of Cultural and Historical Heritage Documentation. He is the author of the following books: Anthropologie de la comédie grecque ancienne, Athens 1990; Theatre Productions in Ancient Corfu: The Foundation of Dionysia, Athens 1996; Approaches to Ancient Greek Culture, from Homer to Isocrates, Athens 2007; Research Methodology in the Humanities, Athens 2016; Aristophanes, Athens 2016. He has edited the following volumes: Greek presence in South Italy and Sicily (ed.), Proceedings of International Congress, Corfu 2000; Corfu: Handbook of Local History (ed.), Pedagogical Institute, Athens 2000; Local History. Teachers’ Handbook, Athens 2006; Attic Comedy (ed. with A. Markantonatos), Athens 2011.
