Sofia Stamou received her B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Ioannina in 1999 and her M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from the Computer Engineering and Informatics Department of Patras University in 2002 and 2006 respectively. Her area of expertise is textual linguistic analysis and processing. Her research has been published in international conferences and journals. She has served as program committee member in numerous conferences and she has been appointed as external expert of the European Commission for the HORIZON 2020 program. Since May 2016 she is an assistant professor at the Department of Archives, Library Science and Museology of the Ionian University.
