Ilias Chrysostomidis was born in Thessaloniki in 1982. He studied Philology (2005) and Theology (2023) at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. At the same University he attended postgraduate studies (2008) and he did his doctoral thesis (2015). He taught at the Department of Philology at the University of Ioannina and at Ecclesiastical Academy of Vellas. His scientific interests are focused on Greek and Latin paleography and Byzantine Literature.
