Metallinos Dimitrios

Dimitrios G. Metallinos was born in Athens, lived in Germany and completed general education in Neo Psychiko, Athens. He earned a graduate degree in German Literature and Theology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He was specialized in Modern Greek and European History at the "Center of Hellenic and Byzantine Studies" of the University of New York (USA). He holds a PhD (History) from the Department of History of the Ionian University. He serves as a member of the Laboratory Teaching Staff at the Department of Archives, Library Science and Museology of the Ionian University, in the scientific field: "Organization and Documentation of Archives". Since the academic year 2011-2012 he teaches courses in the track of “Archival Science” and History courses. He has authored monographs, studies and scientific articles, participated in conferences, while also working as a researcher in Greek, British and German archives.
