The Department of Archival Studies, Librarianship and Museology of the Ionian University invites you to attend and participate in the first presentation of the winter lecture series, organized in cooperation with the General Archives of the State, the main agency for the management and supervision of the archival wealth of our country.
The cycle of seminars has as its central axis the management of records produced by the institutions of the Greek Public Administration, regardless of the substrate, through the accumulated experience and knowledge of the scientific staff of the national archival agency, the General State Archives, and in combination with international standards and new methods, technologies and practices.
The invited speaker of this seminar is Ms. Anastasia Dikopoulou, Archivist - MBA, Head of Public Records' Supervision, Appraisal and Disposal Department at General State Archives of Greece.

Speaker's Short CV
Mrs. Anastasia Dikopoulou, with studies in Archives, Librarianship, Museology, and a postgraduate specialization in Business Administration, has more than twenty years of experience in the field of file and information management.
She has worked in the private sector to design and implement integrated information systems (Ergodata SA) and is certified as an inspector of information systems. She worked at the National Research Foundation, the Prefecture of Athens ,the National Library of Greece, the General State Archives of Greece.
She oversaw the Archive Service and the Library of the Olympic Village during the Athens Olympic Games (2004). She has served as a regular member of the General Council of Libraries, General Archives of the State, and Educational Broadcasting ofthe Ministry of Education, Lifelong Learning, and Religious Affairs (2010-2013). Her publications in scientific journals concern records management, good governance, and eGovernment.
From 2007 to 2015, she was member of project teams responsible for the design and implementation of several G.A.K. projects funded by the E.U.
In the General State Archives of Greece, she has been working since the year 2006. Since May 2019, she serves as Head of Active and Semi-active Records’ Supervision and Inactive Records’ Appraisal, Disposal and Acquisition Department of G.S.A.
