According to the Department’s strategy, the Laboratory forms the link between research in the sciences of Museology and Heritage Assets, with the academic educational process. The innovation being developed in the Laboratory and the connection with the scientific advances at the conferences and the international scientific community in general, are diffused to the undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, harmonizing the educational process with modern theory and practice.

With the contribution of the Laboratory’s associates, undergraduate and postgraduate students are given assignments aiming to inform them about modern academic thought and familiarise them with scientific research methods. An additional objective for these assignments is the development of the students’ skills in teamwork and cooperation.
