The policy for supporting and developing the staff of the Master’s Program is aligned with the quality policy of the Master’s Program (see M1.1) and the Department, as outlined on the ILAM website, https://ilam.ionio.gr/gr/department/quallity-assurance/. Specifically, the main pillars are the Promotion of Research and Outreach and the Promotion of Scientific Output. Specifically, the following are provided for:
Strengthening efforts to further improve research, the publication of research results in high-impact journals, and the impact of the research produced, which will enhance the quality of the student experience through the research conducted.
Intensifying efforts to secure as much external funding as possible for research and teaching, as well as to improve the impact of the research produced.
Provide information on funding opportunities from the Foundation for participation in scientific conferences and for publication in open-access journals.
Promoting faculty mobility to expand the Department’s international relationships and maximize its visibility.
Specifically, enhancing faculty mobility through the Erasmus program. The Erasmus program offers many opportunities, such as teaching and professional development at partner universities abroad. Informing faculty members and encouraging them to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the Erasmus Program in collaboration with the Institution’s Erasmus Office, TDDS.
Expanding the Master’s Program’s partnerships through the signing of bilateral agreements with foreign institutions within the framework of Erasmus.
Strengthening ties with partner universities with which agreements are already in place.
Strengthening collaborations with external research groups, with other graduate programs within the School and the University, and with research groups and units of the University.
Strengthening the Department’s connection with the labor market and industry.
Strengthening outreach activities (such as workshops, conferences, organizing lectures, events, etc.).
