The Master’s program awards a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in “Management of Cultural Information.” By the completion date of their studies, the graduate student must have earned 60 ECTS credits from the courses of the two semesters and an additional 30 ECTS credits from the Thesis, for a total of 90 ECTS credits.
Purpose
The purpose of the Master’s Program is to:
To train highly specialized scholars and researchers in the field of Cultural Information Management and Promotion
To provide specialized theoretical and research knowledge regarding the definition, analysis, interpretation, management, evaluation, and dissemination of Cultural Information
Provision of specialized practical, empirical, and applied knowledge regarding the promotion of cultural artifacts and the administration of cultural institutions
Administration
The Master's Program is administered by the Coordinating Committee. The Director is Ms. Christina Banou, Professor in the Department of Archival Science, Library Science, and Museology at the Ionian University.
